A Change For The New Year!

On the 2nd day of the new year, my dad wanted to go out walking, so we decided to head to the nearest park near my house, Gunung Keriang Recreational Park...

I think I posted about this place a couple of times in my Xanga, but never here...

What you see in the above picture is actually the Gunung itself...

It's rich with live crystals that people keep as a hobby...

Here you can see the live crystals growing on a rock...

You can see lots of these crystals lying on the ground everywhere....

A small piece of rock which I picked up...

See the white center? It's where the crystals grow...

Some live crystals growing at the side of another boulder...

These boulders and rocks all have crystals growing either in or on them...

Too big to bring back to my house... Hehe

If the weather is cool enough, these monkeys will come down and look for food...

Visitors often buy peanuts and junk food to feed them...

Just like this nice guy here...

Be careful though, as these monkeys are greedy...

They will snatch the whole pack if you don't look carefully...
